Three IT Challenges for the 2011 Transition

The Engage Gwinnett Committee made recommendations that support using new technology to increase productivity within Gwinnett County Government. These recommendations include:

  • Implementing a paperless system for courts, tickets, licenses and permits, and police reports
  • Providing online access or self-service kiosks for services
  • Adding an electronic case management court filing system
  • Exploring a public-private partnership for self-service or paperless delivery of services
  • Using new technologies for operational efficiency
